"The US National Wheelchair Association sponsors its FIRST wheelchair competition, June 4th, at the Philadelphia Festival and Atlantic Coast DanceSport Championships. Scholarship purse is $1200. The winner will garner the title of Atlantic Coast Champion
We would like to thank all the participants and spectators that continue to make the Philadelphia Festival a success. Our Saturday evening is very unique. We still have a grand formal banquet right in the ballroom, followed by some general dancing and the open championship professioal and amateur competitions. It is always an elegant affair with over 300 seated for dinner, and hundreds more in attendance to see the competitions.
Our Top Teachers are honored right after the banquet. The minimal requirement to be eligible for a top teacher prize is easily reached at the Philadelphia Festival.
Sunday is "KIDS" day. Last year we presold close to 600 parent and 300 children's tickets for our Sunday event which had close to 1600 single dance entries. We expect a great junior event again this year, since it is just a short drive to Philadelphia from New York, North Jersey and Washington DC.
Thank you to all the competitors, parents of competitors, dance teachers and studio owners who have supported and participated in the Philadelphia Festival and Atlantic Coast Championships 2010.

Thank you so much for putting on such a TERRIFIC comp! It is definitely one of the highlights of the East Coast competition scene.
....Monday night, which is my birthday! I consider Philly an early birthday present. This was my third pro-am competition and I was SO excited to make the final in my scholarship with 14 couples in my event. See you next year,
